Coriander Book Swap

  • Coriander Kitchen and Farm 14601 Riverside Blvd. Detroit, MI 48215 United States (map)

Y’all, we’re having a book swap! 📚

Bring a friend, bring your book club, bring that book you can’t wait for someone else to read.

Sunday, November 1 • 4–7 PM
$25 in advance • $30 at the door

Get your tickets!

Chef Ali is setting out Coriander snacks and soups. Dave Bos of BOS Wine will pour samples to help you find your next favorite book-club bottle. And DeVries & Co., our favorite Eastern Market cheese shop, will share samples of some of its most interesting cheeses.

Your ticket includes admission, soups, snacks, wine tasting + cheese samples. Glasses and bottles of wine, cheese to take home and bevvies from our bar are sold separately.

HOW THE SWAP WORKS
📚 Bring up to four books in good condition—no textbooks or reference books, please.
📚 Get one token for each book you bring.
📚 Browse, snack, sip and find your next reads. Redeem your tokens at the host stand.
📚 Additional books are $5 each.

No books to swap? You’re still welcome! Buy an admission ticket and shop the books for $5 each.

It’s an open house—come anytime from 4–7 PM. The selection will keep changing as people arrive with their stacks.

We’ll have sections for Epic Novels; Beach & Boat Reads; Spies, Thrillers & Secret Societies; Cookbooks; Food Stories & Memoirs; Nonfiction; Memoir & Essay Collections; Fantasy, Fairies & Dragons; Romance; and How Your Garden Grows.

Circus Manager Amy will be seeding the tables with books from her own collection, too.

Leftover books will join our new $5 bookshelf, with sales from those titles supporting youth literacy programs in Detroit.

Your next favorite read might be sitting on someone else’s bookshelf. 😉

Tickets at the link in our bio.

Coriander will be closed for regular dinner service that evening.
